When asked, “What do you do?” a linear response is expected, but for Darrian this question is an endless unfoldment. Darrian’s mantra is “The Artist Should Be Free” therefore he calls upon the mediums of exhibitions, image, fashion, furniture, smell, design & nature. He noticed a thread that he wanted to explore in personal pursuit or collaboration, driven by a never ending desire to find, create and experience the best each category had to offer.
In 2009, Darrian ventured into the world of photography and graphic design. Within a few years, an opportunity arose to gain priceless industry experience as a stage manager at a leading Hollywood print studio. While working at the studio, he was completely immersed in the photo world and was exposed to the full scope of production. He took this experience to his own shoots in his free time, and quickly established his own understanding and knowledge. His consistent work over those years led to the development of his distinct photography style and inimitable personal brand. In 2019, Darrian decided to focus entirely on his craft. He is a full time freelance photographer and graphic designer, and is currently working by commission with select brands & clients.
